Lip-Smacking BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders for Any Occasion

These BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders are a one of my go to meals when I have am looking to make give chicken breast a bit of zing with some classic barbecue (or sweet and spicy!) flavors. These quick, anytime, meals featuring tender shredded chicken simmered in a tangy barbecue sauce. I think these sliders are easy to make and packed with flavor, making them a favorite for in my house.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • Coleslaw (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in a baking dish and cover it with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds with a fork.
  4. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the baking dish and mix in the barbecue sauce until well combined.
  5. To assemble the sliders, place a generous portion of the pulled chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with coleslaw if desired, and cover with the top half of the buns.
  6. Serve the sliders warm and enjoy your flavorful BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders!
