Ingredients

  • 1 lb fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the sliced chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine and chicken back into the skillet, tossing to coat everything evenly in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.
