It is high time we stop dilly-dallying and try to live a healthy lifestyle. Every year it is the same story, we start making ambitious resolutions for the New Year only to abandon them in a few weeks. The key to success is consistency; small changes over time can help achieve that. It is much easier to form habits over time and see their impact over a long period rather than undergoing drastic changes that are difficult to maintain. If one of your changes is going for a Keto diet. Our list of Keto friendly recipes should help.
A Ketogenic diet means eating meals with high protein content while cutting back on carbohydrates. A Keto diet can work wonders as it has been proven to produce positive health effects. There is a huge amount of scientific data that points to the efficacy of the Ketogenic diet in helping to reduce weight, bring down blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Cutting back on carbohydrates can seem like a daunting challenge, so here are ten delicious Keto-friendly recipes that are super easy:
Bacon and Eggs
Let’s start with breakfast because you must start your day with a healthy and satisfying meal. Everyone has had bacon and eggs, or a variation of it. Thinly sliced strips of bacon cooked to a crispy perfection paired with the softness of fried eggs, the combination is a classic. The good news is that this breakfast is already keto-friendly so you need not make any changes.
You can substitute the bacon with greens if you want. Spinach, broccoli, green beans, and asparagus are all greens that are low in carb content and can be stir-fried and seasoned for a hearty breakfast with some eggs.
Pancakes
Speaking of classic breakfasts, pancakes are a top pick. However, traditional pancake recipes are not keto-friendly. The copious amount of flour that goes into making pancakes is an issue. But that does not mean you cannot enjoy pancakes on your keto diet. Keto-friendly pancakes are made out of almond flour. Combine almond flour with eggs, water, salt, and maple syrup or stevia. Mix the ingredients to get a pourable consistency and cook with the lid on. The result is a batch of soft, fluffy pancakes that taste as good as they are healthy.
