Great French Reds for the Summer

So I recorded a podcast in honor of Bastille Day.  And then the unthinkable happened — terrorists attacked the city of Nice, killed 85 people and injured 100.

There was no way I was posting anything upbeat about France that day.

But time has passed. And by no means do I think the people of France have recovered, but I do think it’s OK for us to honor them and raise a glass of wine in solidarity.

And the podcast is really fun.  It’s always fun when I hang out at Gary’s Wine & Marketplace in Wayne, NJ, and taste wines with my friend Gary Fisch.  Chad Watkins, one of his wine educators, joined us as we tasted a bunch of great French wines for the summer. Not only are these wines easy to drink, they’ll work great with the BBQ you’re planning over the weekend.

So pour a glass and listen along.

And as always, we honor and support France.
